By
recording myself for the whole week I found out a lot about myself and how I
spend my time. Prior to making this schedule I believed that I spent most of my
time in classes and doing homework. But in actuality I don’t.
Judging
by my routine I spent 11 hours of my week napping, which is a lot of sleep,
compared to the 9 hours of Homework I did in that week. This balance is not
okay, if anything it should be switched around. Looking back I could have not
took so many naps and focused more on getting my work done. If I begin my
homework early enough I would be able to save myself some time to get it done
and then I can nap later.
In
the Future I will plan out my week so that I can spend less time napping and
more time doing homework and getting what I need to get done. It is very hard
to cut out taking a nap considering I’m always tired for the simple fact that
I’m always driving. Even though while driving the only thing you do is put your
foot on the gas an hands on the steering wheel. The concentration takes a lot
out of a person.
I can
take what I have found through this study and apply it to college by making
sure that my values on making school a priority stays in affect. By starting my
homework earlier and making less time for naps, I will be on the right track. I
just have to stay organize and stay confident and I will be successful. College
is not an easy thing if that was the case everyone would be here. If you
balance your time wisely you will be surprised.
