What To Expect In My Video..

In my video I plan to talk about a topic that relates to all first year students. So I decided to put together a survival guide on how to make it through college with all the distractions going on around you. Coming into to school the first thing everyone wants to know is where all the parties are. Unfortunately they get so caught up in all of the partying they forget to keep up with their classes. So by creating this guide it can help freshmen to not get too sidetracked.

The first question that I plan to ask is, where is a good place to go and study and do homework? I felt that this was a good question to ask because there are people everywhere that tend to always talk to you so you can’t concentrate on your work. By finding a place where it is easy to focus may help keep a freshman on the right path.

The second question I plan to ask is, how do you properly balance your social and academic life? I feel like this is a major problem with incoming students. They have a hard time learning how to balance the two and end up failing in their classes.

The third question I plan to ask is, what can you do if you do fall behind on your classes? How can you get back on track? This question is a great one in my opinion because at this point I believe students will decide to give up if they are too behind in their classes.

These questions will help make my video interesting, because these are questions I’m sure every freshmen at least thinks about once when they first start school. In the video I can have the upperclassman answer these questions truthfully because they have already lived through their freshman year. Professor would be able to answer them because they have witnessed it. And the freshman can gather information they have learned so far to answer the question. In the end the video will end up being very helpful for all incoming students in the future.
